The editor

You edit the store by touching the store. The side panel is for the few decisions that cannot be judged by eye.

In-canvas editing

Click a headline and type. Click an image and swap it. Add a testimonial to a wall, remove a feature from a grid, reorder a list — on the canvas, in place, in the real design. Moving or hover-driven templates freeze while you edit so a caret can land. The Content tab in the side panel keeps only what needs a form: links and destinations, limits, bindings to products and collections.

The Template tab

Every component offers its templates grouped by purpose, using the component's own headings ("Text menus" and "Menus with collection pictures" for a header, for instance). Switch a template and the content carries across. Where a card row has a mobile design, the mobile mode lives here too.

Style and colour

One control changes the whole store's design style; the section list stays, every section re-dresses. An individual section can take a different style from the rest of the store. Colours are yours to choose — the palette, and how much colour the backgrounds carry. These are the levers that most change how a store feels, and they are deliberately cheap to try.

Sections

Add a section from the library, grouped by purpose. Remove one. Reorder. Overlays and pop-ups sit at the end of the list, inert in the editor, so they never get in the way of editing the page beneath them.

Offers

Bundles, upsells and cross-sells are set up in the same editor, with a live preview of the cart drawer and the buy box, and are configured after publish too (see Bundles, upsells and cross-sells).

Pop-ups

Pop-ups will also be available, built from the same design system as the rest of the store.

Then publish

When it looks right, connect a store and publish (see What gets published). You can keep editing in Camel before you publish, and in Shopify's customizer afterwards.
