Bundles, upsells and cross-sells
The parts merchants usually buy four apps for ship as part of the store, inherit its design system, and are configured in one place.
What ships
- Bundles — "the daily three", "buy 2 save 10%", kits. A Camel bundle is a real Shopify fixed bundle: a product, exactly as Shopify's own Bundles app creates one, so it works with Shopify's cart, checkout and inventory.
- Cart upsells — a free-shipping progress bar, a gift ladder ("buy 2, get a jar of honey"), subscribe-and-save, and a cross-sell shelf of hand-picked products or a bound collection, all in the cart drawer.
- Buy-box upsells — the offer presented on the product page itself: quantity breaks, the subscription option, the free gift.
- Cross-sells — "pairs well with" rows on product pages and at the foot of the shop, from a fixed list you choose or a collection you bind. Not an algorithm; you decide.
The design rule
Every offer surface is a section like any other, dressed by the store's design style. A cart drawer in the Editorial style has printed rules and plates; the same drawer in Neo-brutalist has thick borders and stamped buttons. This is the difference from installing four separate apps, each with its own look: nothing fights.
Discounts
Camel does not create discount codes or automatic discounts of its own. You create discounts in Shopify, where they belong, and Camel reads them and presents them in the offer surfaces. A bundle's saving is priced on the bundle product itself.
Live after publish
Offers are configured in Camel after the store is published and reach the storefront without a second publish: Camel writes the small settings the theme's sections read, and Shopify resolves product and collection references on every page load. Switch an upsell off and it is off; change the gift and the ladder changes.
Pop-ups
Pop-ups will also be available, using the same offer machinery and the same design system.
